Vray materials applied to by default, in order to use standard materials please open the scene and apply material from the first slot of the material editor to the model. Model comes in two formats: .MAX and .OBJ. .MAX version of the model compatible with 3D Studio MAX 8.0 and up. .OBJ version of the model has the geometry only, no materials applied.
